MSLK's client April Peck a Beauty industry veteran, was looking to develop a new line of hair care treatments that would combat six sources of hair breakage that disrupt the current industry's conventional damage-repairing categories. Each Save Me From product contains a powerful, game-changing technology encapsulated with Ayurvedic Fenugreek sourced from organic Fair Trade farms near the Blue City in India.
Inspired by hair breakage, SAVE ME FROM’s secondary packaging offers a cathartic unboxing experience which requires consumers to tear away the source of damage to reveal the product within. Due to April's commitment to suicide prevention, we conceptualized a brand name that would "save" consumers' hair, and thus SAVE ME FROM came to life. The product lines are structured to easily identify the type of hair damage one wants to combat.

EDUCATION
Tip-to-Root Formula + Results
The secondary box panels educated consumers on the benefits and what the product ingredients target. Each box face focused on one of the brand characteristics: a social mission to suicide prevention, the source of damage, about the proprietary ingredients and formulation.
The Zip-Strip + Mechanism
The secondary packaging features soft-touch black cover paper with lifestyle images. These images are used throughout the brand platforms to facilitate product recognition and shopping experience. The concept of tearing away damage was executed by using a "zip strip" that unveils the primary packaging.
The primary packaging color guidelines follow the same structure as its secondary box. The airless pump mechanism allows the user to apply the formula with precise quantities while also being able to use it until the last drop.
MSLK worked with e-commerce experts, Creative Capital, on the brand experience online.
