About
As part of Pepsi’s mission to amplify voices from marginalized communities through the power of music, Pepsi Music Lab gave 3-4 aspiring hip-hop artists an opportunity to create a track with notable music producer Pi’erre Bourne. Pepsi promoted the event and amplified the artists through Social Media, Websites, and PR assets.

MICROSITE &
DIGITAL ASSETS

As the Pepsi Music Lab program launched with a call for artist submissions, entrants needed to be able to access a developed microsite to find out more about the program and to enter.

The goal was to design a site and digital assets that felt more authentic vs. too corporate/polished, underscoring hip-hop and the nature of the program.

It all begins with an idea.

Announcing Pepsi Music Lab through a 60 second video. A new Pepsi program designed to remove industry barriers, create new opportunities, and shine a spotlight on the next generation of hip-hop superstars through a three-day academy and virtual summit.

2021 Pepsi Music Lab Finalists

Pepsi and Pi’erre Bourne selected 3 talented hip-hop stars: Starchild Kayla, TooFiyaa, and WNTRBRK to participate in Pepsi Music Lab. Each artist's original track is available NOW on all music streaming platforms.
